We are looking for a Nutanix NCP Lead Architect (m/f/d).

Key Tasks
Solution Design & Architecture Ownership
• Own the Solution Design for Nutanix based HCI platforms delivered through Baseline HCI and Advanced HCI Engineering services
• Develop & maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents
• Ensure design artifacts provide clear, actionable guidance for implementation teams and engineering execution
Architecture Definition & Design Governance
• Design Nutanix solution architectures spanning AOS, AHV, Prism & Lifecycle M components
• Define non-functional requirements including availability, performance, scalability, security, & operational supportability
• Act as design authority, reviewing and validating implementation alignment against approved HLD and LLD documentation
Platform Integration & Network Awareness
• Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise networking standards & connectivity models
• Incorporate SD-WAN integration considerations where Nutanix platforms interface with distributed or edge environments
• Validate architectural dependencies & assumptions in coordination with network specialists
Lifecycle, Security & Operational Design Alignment
• Design platforms to support efficient Day-2 operations, including upgrades, patching, scaling, & lifecycle management
• Embed security & compliance requirements into Nutanix solution designs
• Ensure operational handover requirements are addressed through design artifacts
Pre-Sales & Portfolio Contribution
• Support pre-sales technical discussions through solution validation & design input
• Contribute to Nutanix reference architectures, design templates, & solution standards
• Support further development of the Sovereign Infrastructure and HCI service portfolio
Skills and Requirements
HCI & Nutanix-Centrix Private Cloud Architecture & Design | Experience: 6-8 years
o Experience designing enterprise Nutanix private cloud architectures across on-premises & edge environments
Nutanix Multicloud Infrastructure Architecture | Experience 5-7 years
o Expertise in Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism and Lifecycle tooling with design & governance responsibility.
Resilience, Performance & Lifecycle Design | Experience: 5-7 years
o Background in HA design, performance optimization, capacity planning, & lifecycle management.
Observability & Operations Architecture | Experience: 3-5 Years
o Architectural experience designing capacity, performance, and operational visibility for Nutanix platforms using Prism-based tooling.
Security, Compliance & Operational Architecture | Experience: 4-6 years
o Experience embedding security controls, compliance requirements, & operational constraints into designs.
Enterprise Networking & SD-WAN Awareness | Experience: 3-5 years
o Understanding of enterprise Networking & SDN integration patterns at an architectural level.
Automation & Standardization Awareness (Ansible) | Experience: 2-4 years
o Ability to architect platforms that support automation and standardization.
Technical Communication & Stakeholder Alignment
o Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts, architectural decisions, & trade-offs to diverse stakeholders, including customer technical leadership, delivery teams, & internal partners.
Analytical Thinking & Structured Problem Solving
o Capability to analyze complex infrastructure requirements, identify risks & dependencies, & apply structured thinking to drive sound architectural and engagement decisions.

o Ability to work effectively across consulting, architecture, engineering, & network teams, contributing to aligned outcomes through technical expertise, clarity, & constructive collaboration.
Certification Requirements
o Nutanix Certified Professional – Multicloud Infrastructure (NCP-MCI)
o Nutanix Certified Expert – Multicloud Infrastructure (NCX-MCI)
o Nutanix Platform Expert (NPX) or equivalent advanced Nutanix architecture accreditation
Preference Certifications:
NCP-MCI; NCX-MCI (or equivalent proven Nutanix architecture experience); RHCSA/RHCE; Enterprise networking certification (CCNA or equivalent); NPX; CCNP Enterprise; LFCS/LFCE or LPIC-3; Terraform Associate; Ansible Automation; VMware VCP-VCF (for transformation projects)
