Accessibility Statement

At nemensis AG, we want everyone to be able to navigate our website easily – regardless of any disabilities. That's why we are constantly working to make our online services as accessible as possible. The legal basis for this is the Bavarian Disability Equality Act (BayBGG) and the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).

This statement applies to the website: www.nemensis.de

How accessible is our website?

Our website is only partially accessible. Some technical and content requirements of BITV 2.0 are not yet fully met. We intend to change this – step by step.

What is (still) not accessible?

1. Text in images / graphics with text

Problem: Graphics with text are used on the homepage and in other areas (e.g., buttons or banners).

Solution: Where possible, we replace such elements or supplement them with alternatives. Content such as the newsletter is also accessible via the main menu.

2. Forms

Problem: Not all online forms are technically accessible.

Solution: We design new forms to be accessible from the outset. We continuously revise existing ones.

3. Missing Labels

Problem: Some form elements (e.g., the search field on the homepage) are not labeled correctly.

Solution: These gaps will be filled, where technically possible.

4. PDF Documents

Problem: Many PDFs on our website are not accessible.

Solution: We create new documents to be accessible. For older or external files, we offer an HTML alternative where possible.

5. Missing Alternative Text

Problem: Some images lack alternative text.

Solution: In the future, we will consistently ensure that alt text is provided for all new visual content.

What do we consider disproportionate?

We are currently unable to offer some content in an accessible format without disproportionately high costs compared to the benefits:

1. Plain Language Texts

Our company profile and navigation pages are available in plain language.

However, industry-specific content, such as information on recruitment in specialized sectors, cannot be meaningfully translated into plain language without compromising its clarity.

2. Complex Graphics with Explanatory Text

Some illustrations serve to visualize internal processes or work models.

These are often aimed at a professional audience or business clients – a fully accessible alternative is not currently possible.
